GAR Rolls out Enhanced Monthly Indicators Platform
GAR’s Monthly Housing Indicators report – powered by ShowingTime, Inc – is diving deeper into the details of the housing market across Georgia. Starting in February 2020, GAR members can now view county-level statistics – referred to as Local Market Updates – via FastStats, GAR’s enhanced platform for monthly indicators. FastStats is an exclusive benefit for GAR members. Local Market Updates will be delivered monthly (approximately the 18th of each month) and include:
- New Listings
- Pending Sales
- Closed Sales
- Days on Market Until Sale
- Median Sales Price
- Average Sales Price
- Percent of List Price Received
- Inventory of Homes for Sale
- Months Supply of Inventory
In addition to Local Market Updates, a monthly Housing Supply Overview report for the entire state will also be published on the FastStats platform. This report breaks down statewide indicators by Price Range, Bedroom Count, and Property Type (Single Family Homes / Townhomes & Condos). The information generated can be used in a variety of ways for your business, including listing presentations, open house takeaways, newsletters, blogs, and CMAs.
The statewide monthly housing indicators – which GAR has offered since 2012 – will continue to be available each month as well. The data for these reports is pulled from 14 MLSs from across the state and represents more than 90% of the housing market in Georgia.

The platform will default to Local Market Updates. Click on the county names to view the county-level Local Market Updates.
On the left-hand side of the page, you will see tabs for Monthly Indicators and Housing Supply Overview. Click on those tabs to access these reports. Please note that these reports are statewide and do not currently break down to the county level.
